Verónica González Franqui

Verónica González Franqui is a passionate manga illustrator from Puerto Rico, whose art is a fusion of the styles she has admired over the years. Striking a balance between not-too-childish and not-too-realistic manga style, her work is designed to captivate teenage and mature audiences. She enjoys adding detail while maintaining an expressive and dynamic feel in her characters and illustrations. Verónica studied Illustration with Sequential Art at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD).

Verónica has always loved to draw since she was small, but her journey as an artist began with Japanese animation and manga, which sparked her love for storytelling through visuals. Influenced by renowned mangakas such as Masashi Kishimoto and Gege Akutami, Verónica has embraced Shonen manga as her creative focus. Deeply inspired by Japanese culture, she incorporates its essence into her artistic style and the narratives she brings to life. She loves listening to music, which inspires many of her illustrations.

Beyond creating compelling artwork, Verónica aims to inspire beginner artists who share her dream of becoming professionals. Through her illustrations and storytelling, she seeks to evoke emotions, build connections, and leave a lasting impact on those who experience her work.
